Things to see and do in Perth

Not long now before our convention in Perth. There are many things to see and do in the land out West, and here are a few suggested links you may wish to visit:

We know links can sometimes be confusing, so here is a list of suggested activities around the City of Perth (nice and close to the convention venue) in PDF format – What’s on Perth.

Of course, the information could be overwhelming so you may wish to have a look at TripAdvisor recommendations. Western Australia takes up 1/3rd the size of Australia so it would be advisable to check how far some of your destinations are from Perth city.

Australasian Convention Banquet Invitation

During the Australasian Convention, 13-15 October 2017, we will be holding a medieval banquet on the evening of 14 October at the International on the Water, Epsom Avenue, Ascot.

Cost is $125 per person( $75 for children) which includes a 3 course meal, beer, wine and soft drinks, and entertainment by internationally renowned jester, Jonathon de Hadleigh.

Subscription rates for 2017

Dear Members,

Here are our subscription rates for the coming year, commencing April 2017:

$35 – Full membership
$50 – Full family membership
$25 – Pensioners/Seniors
$30 – Pensioners/Seniors Family membership
$18 – Full time student
$10 – Country/Overseas membership

Our last increase in subscriptions was back in 1990, but alas we have had to increase the amounts slightly due to having to change our monthly meeting venues.

Please contact our Treasurer via email if you would like to send your payments to us via EFT.

2017 Australasian Convention

As 2016 draws to a close, we also know that the Convention would not be too far around the corner as well.

The 2017 Australasian Convention will be held in Perth, Western Australia and we hope that you will be able to join us between 13 – 15 October 2017.

We have a few forms for you to complete and return to us. Please see below with their due dates.
